Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of sales-mieco.com and any purchase you make through it. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them before ordering.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Mieco Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (620690-T), a subsidiary of Mieco Chipboard Berhad.

In these terms, “we”, “us”, “our” and “MIECO” mean Mieco Manufacturing Sdn Bhd. “You” means the person placing the order.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract to order from this website. We supply to customers with a delivery address in Malaysia only.

3. Products

We sell High Pressure Laminate (HPL) decorative sheets. Each sheet measures 1220mm (W) x 2440mm (H) with a nominal thickness of 0.70mm (±0.1mm tolerance).

Product images, colour swatches and descriptions are provided as a guide. Colours and textures displayed on a screen will not match the physical product exactly, and minor variation can occur between production batches. This is normal for a manufactured decorative surface and is not a defect. If an exact match is important, please request a physical sample before ordering.

4. Prices

All prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of SST and of delivery within Peninsular Malaysia. Orders to Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan carry an additional delivery charge of RM30 per sheet, shown at checkout. The total displayed at checkout is the full amount payable.

We may change prices at any time, but a change will not affect an order we have already accepted. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to a technical or human error, we are not obliged to supply at that price; we will contact you and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

5. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch the goods, whichever happens first. An automated acknowledgement of your order does not by itself mean we have accepted it.

We may decline or cancel an order — for example where the product is out of stock, where we cannot verify payment, where the delivery address is outside our service area, or where we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund it in full.

6. Payment

We accept online banking (FPX), credit and debit cards, and e-wallets, processed securely by our payment provider Razorpay Curlec. We also accept direct bank transfer.

We do not store your card details. Card and banking information is handled by our payment provider under their own security standards.

Where you pay by direct bank transfer, your order is held until funds are received and will not be dispatched before then. Orders awaiting bank transfer may be cancelled if payment is not received within 3 working days. We will contact you before cancelling.

7. Delivery

Delivery terms, packing, coverage and estimated timeframes are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

8. Returns and refunds

Our Return & Refund Policy forms part of these terms. In summary, we accept returns where a product arrives damaged, reported within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence. We do not accept returns for change of mind or for normal colour variation.

9. Product use

You are responsible for making sure the product is suitable for your intended application, and for correct storage, handling and installation. We are not liable for loss or damage arising from incorrect installation or use, or from use of the product outside its intended purpose.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including the MIECO name and logo, text, product images, colour swatches, designs and layout — is owned by or licensed to MIECO and protected by law. You may not reproduce, distribute or use it commercially without our prior written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of contract, loss of business, or the cost of removing or reinstalling installed product. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disaster, flood, fire, epidemic, strike, courier failure, utility or telecommunications failure, or government action.

13. Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Please tell us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

14. Privacy

We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
